How do I book you for my wedding?
First of all I highly recommend you make sure I´m the right photographer for your wedding. If you want to meet or talk on the phone to clear any question you may have. If you like what you see and want to give me the honor to be at your wedding let´s get in touch and send me an email to alvarobustamanteinfo@gmail.com to confirm availability and let you know the process for booking your date.
How do you recieve payments?
I can receive booking fees and payments using my mexican account in Banorte Bank.
From US we can use Remitly, that goes directly to Banorte. And cashout at Western Union and Moneygram.
Also, we can always meet anytime to make payments in person using cash.
When do you need the final payment?
As any other event provider, your photography package has to be covered before the wedding day.
Final payment can be made at any point you wish, up until 1 week before the wedding.
Do you shoot destination weddings?
Yes! I like to travel and make photos on new places. Travel expenses will be aplied.
Will there be a second shooter?
That depends on the size or kind of wedding you plan. If it´s small wedding or a small group I can go by my self and document your wedding without assistance. But usually, for regular size weddings I bring my asistant for lighting and use 2 cameras for special moments like the ceremony and special events during the program.
If you would like to ensure a second photographer you can add it to the package for a special price.
Can I extend the coverage on the day of?
Yes. Price for additional hour or extra sessions is on my packages information.
What kind of gear do you use?
I use Nikon cameras and products since a long time a go. I use full frame cameras and prime lenses to deliver the best quality possible on your photos.
When will I receive my wedding photos??
2 months tops.
What does editing and retoching means?
It means that I take care of all details around, in the background and the people, specially on the bride & groom. I like to clear all the stuff that takes away your attention from what really matters. Also retouching of skin, removing imperfections, refining details, and making adjustments, but always aiming to achieve a natural look.
That include the use of editing tools like Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. And that is why I need the enough time to deliver the best edited photos possible.
Do we have to provide food for you?
Not at all, I bring my own 🙂 Wedding catering can be expensive, and I don’t see that it’s very fair for you to pay over the odds for a plate of food for me. I’m more than happy with my own food and like the flexibility of not having to eat at a certain time.
Although it is not a must, we appreciate those couples who invite us to eat or have drinks during their wedding.
